Job Responsibilities:
Work with PM, architects, BA's and offshore team relative to integration design and development
Provide technical insight for integration approaches
Design, develop and test integration solutions using ACE
Work closely with and take direction from Integration work stream and project leaders
Coordinate integration development work with Integration team
Perform code review and unit testing for each integration interface
Work with testing teams for integration testing and QA testing
Identify and support technical risk management with the Integration team
Resolve technical issues related to integration design and development work
Perform as an individual contributor for integration design and development work
Continuously pursue opportunities for improvement
Requirements
Strong IBM ACE design and development skills, especially custom ESQL development
Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architectures.
Strong skills in ESQL, Graphical mapping, Java compute, Web services, MQ, SOAP, HTTP, File and Database nodes.
8+ years of hands-on development, primarily in the technologies and skills mentioned above
Strong skills in auditing and monitoring message flows.
Strong skills in XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON, RESTful, Flat file, CSV message formats.
Experience in SQL Server and DB2 is a plus.
Experience working on large, mission critical projects
Ability to effectively deal with and resolve issues
Proactive and self-starter
Experience integrating package solutions
Strong understanding of and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus
Knowledge of ACORD standards is a plus
Experience with iterative development methods a plus
