Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Accounts Payable to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounts payable function within the organization, spanning multiple cities. Reporting to the CFO, the Manager, Accounts Payable will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors and suppliers while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the accounts payable team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple cities.
2. Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy & compliance with vendor contracts & company policies
3. Coordinate with various departments across different locations to obtain approvals for invoice processing.
4. Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner, utilizing the company's payment systems.
5. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
7. Prepare and analyze aging reports to manage outstanding payables and optimize cash flow.
8. Streamline vendor management processes and negotiate favorable terms.
9. Study vendor contracts and ensure timely renewals to maintain uninterrupted services.
10. Study spends versus budgets, historical data, revenue and raise red flags in case of anomalies.
11. Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
3. Proficiency in TALLY and MS Excel.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with vendors and suppliers.

CTC: 5 lakhs. pa
