Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and scrutinize accounting activities
• Review accounts for Cash, Bank, Inter-Unit, Loans, expenses, Fixed assets, parties
• Coordinate corrections with UKSC team
• Perform monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities
• Authenticate financial JV's, vouchers, statements, update Income Tax
• Interact with stakeholders, reply to queries
• Coordinate fund requirements with UKSC
• Prepare weekly Flash cost report
• Coordinate Provision data from all departments
• Prepare reports, analyze data for MIS
• Scrutinize trial balance monthly for expense booking
• Reconcile suppliers accounts, resolve bill passing issues
• Ensure team adopts best practices
• Timely Budget preparation for all entities
• Manage bill passing and payment for UCWF activities
• Monitor fund planning for all entities
• Review transactions, suggest improvements
• Ensure 100% safety compliance, educate team
• Conduct scheduled safety rounds, report incidents
• Participate in safety training, committees, events
• Ensure good housekeeping, report abnormalities
• Adhere to all safety precautions on/off site
• Promote environmental sustainability, create awareness
• Adhere to ABOEF activities (Kaizen, OPL, Suggestion, Good to find)
• Implement approved suggestions, track BCE & 5S scores
• Develop New Model area, sustain current model area
• Conduct quarterly audits, ensure IMS & ISO standards conformity
• Encourage team participation in IMS and WCM activities
