We are now looking for an
Accounts Officer to support our Flights Team working on reporting, reconciliations and additional administrative tasks.
You will be responsible for:
- Reconcile Gateway and Mid-office customer payments on a daily basis and resolve variances.
- Reconcile vendor statements with bank and Mid-office vendor reports on a weekly basis.
- Reconcile various reports from Mid-office to ensure accuracy of data on a weekly basis.
- Assist with producing data metrics for the flights division.
- Reconcile reports on a monthly/annual basis for period-end reporting.
- Assist with the flights audit process on an annual basis.
- Assist the flights team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Maintain the Flights trust bank account to ensure compliance with ATOL requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Someone with 2+ years of experience in Accounting.
- Experience using any flight-based system (Tramada, CCT, Back Office, Dolphin, Travel Operations, AIDA, Travel Works).
- Time management skills: able to meet deadlines by managing tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Someone who adapts well to change and handles uncertainty confidently.
- A quick learner with a sound understanding of technology and processes.
- Problem-solving skills: uses logic to solve complex problems, approaches challenges confidently, plans effectively, and generates multiple solutions.
- Someone with previous experience in the travel industry is preferred but not required.
