We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Zoho Books and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Knowledge of Tally is a plus, as it will help in managing various accounting tasks efficiently. The Accounts Assistant will support the finance department in managing daily accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in Zoho Books, ensuring all entries are correctly classified.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice generation, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding receivables.
Bank Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between company records and bank statements.Expense Management:
Track and manage company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are properly recorded and categorized.Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Data Entry: Enter and update financial data with speed and accuracy, ensuring all information is recorded correctly in Zoho Books.
Compliance:
Ensure all accounting practices adhere to company policies and relevant accounting standards.Support:
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance department, including filing, data management, and responding to inquiries.- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Software Proficiency:
Proficient in Zoho Books is required; experience with Tally is highly desirable.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication:
