Salary- 35k ctc

Role Overview

The Accounts & Admin Officer for the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) plant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations specific to the waste management and recycling industry. This role plays a critical part in monitoring financial performance, controlling costs, and supporting decision-making processes within the facility.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data related to MRF operations.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders as necessary.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
  • Monitor budgetary performance, analyze variances, and provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Execute and oversee daily administrative tasks with precision to ensure seamless office operations and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies governing the waste management and recycling industry.
  • Handle vendor management, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with vendors across India.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of administrative activities, including vendor contracts, procurement transactions, and other relevant documents.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to address administrative needs and provide support as required.
  • Monitor expenses related to MRF operations, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, supplies, and utilities.
  • Analyze cost drivers, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with management to implement cost control measures, track performance metrics, and monitor the effectiveness of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and records required for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting related to waste and recycling activities.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the waste management and recycling sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
