Job Overview
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, and auditing functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong background in accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and financial forecasting to support our strategic goals and growth.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Payroll Management: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including tax withholdings, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain liquidity and support operations.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Partner with operational teams to oversee inventory and manage cost controls effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a management role. Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., IDS, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-department collaboration.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial and administrative tasks.
