Accounting Manager for E-Commerce

Unniyarcha is a rapidly growing silver jewelry label inspired and named after a 17th-century warrior from Malabar, India. We are one of the fastest growing silver brands with in-house design and mannufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records related to e-commerce transactions, including sales, returns, and expenses.

- Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile payments, refunds, and other transactions from e-commerce platforms with company accounts.

- Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and sales reports.

- Accounting Software Management: Utilize accounting software to record transactions, generate reports, and manage financial data.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and e-commerce regulations, including preparing tax documentation and coordinating with tax professionals.

- Cost Analysis: Analyze e-commerce-related costs and expenses to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.

- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting, including tracking stock levels, cost of goods sold, and inventory valuation.

- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to e-commerce transactions.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on e-commerce preferred.

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Knowledge of tax regulations and e-commerce compliance requirements.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

- CPA or similar accounting certification.

- Experience with advanced Excel functions and data analysis.

- Familiarity with international e-commerce regulations.
