Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting and Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounting, finance, and compliance, particularly in using Xero and Zoho One apps, including Zoho Billing, CRM, and Subscriptions, along with knowledge of Australian GST regulations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero and Zoho One apps, ensuring compliance with Australian GST rules.
Prepare and analyse profit and loss statements, budget forecasts, and cash flow reports, and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the development and monitoring of budgets and financial plans, conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting.
Utilise Zoho Billing, CRM, and Subscriptions to manage invoicing, customer relations, and subscription-based revenue streams effectively.
Assist in creating and implementing financial policies and procedures.
Collaborate with various departments to support accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgets, providing administrative support for financial operations as required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
At least three years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Proficiency in Xero and Zoho One apps, including Billing, CRM, and Subscriptions.
Strong knowledge of Australian GST rules and regulations.
Experience in managing profit and loss statements, budget forecasting, and cash flow statements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a tech-based consulting firm.
Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA.
