Job Title: Accountant
The Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and summaries.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and trends to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including verifying and reconciling invoices.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and provide insights.
- Support external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- 1+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with various departments.
