Job Overview
Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our newly established office in South Delhi. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting. The role will focus on key financial operations, including reporting, auditing, and budget management.
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years of work experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong financial reporting skills to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Experience in tax preparation and filing to ensure compliance with local laws
- Background in auditing processes to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial records
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning to manage and forecast expenses
- Account reconciliation skills to maintain accurate account balances and identify discrepancies
- Ability to perform detailed financial analysis to guide business decisions
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data management
Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions
- Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
- Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control
- Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accurate records and identify discrepancies
- Participate in financial audits and assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Support month-end and year-end financial closure processes
