Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented graduate to join our team as a Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proficiency in using Tally software. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

2. Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally software.

3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.

4. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

5. Prepare invoices, bills, and vouchers for payment processing.

6. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.

8. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

10. Perform other duties as assigned by the senior accounting staff.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. Proficiency in using Tally software is required.

3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Strong organizational and time management skills.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

9. Prior experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required.

10. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
