Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant with demonstrated proficiency in Tally software to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against these targets.

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Advise on tax strategies and implications.

Conduct internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.

Stay updated on financial regulations and legislation, ensuring the company's financial practices comply with all relevant laws.

Provide financial advice and support to management, assisting in decision-making processes.

Implement and improve accounting systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualification and Skills required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are often preferred.

Minimum of [2] years of accounting experience, with specific experience in using Tally software.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,Tally, Tally Prime) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Zoho books.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Strong ethical standards and integrity in managing sensitive financial information.

Work Environment:

Office-based role with standard working hours.

Occasional overtime may be required during peak financial periods.
