The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Accounting Department at Corporate Office,
- General Accounting,
- Bookkeeping,
- Invoicing,
- Maintain financial records up to date,
- Maintain and monitor account payables,
- Making day to day entries in Tally software,
- Entering transactions in the accounting system such as expenses and sales, updating ledgers,
- Basic data entry tasks for accounting assistants include logging transactions, recording and reviewing journal entries, creating invoices, and crafting spreadsheets,
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct,
- Processing expense requests corporate office for payments,
- Keeping track of cash vouchers and employee reimbursements,
- Petty cash handling,
- Bank reconciliation,
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers,
- Preparing MIS reports as and when required,
- Recording of cash &bank transactions,
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies,
- Assist in reconciling accounts and audits in a timely manner,
- Maintain data in excel sheets and making reports,
- Support of HR workings such as basic attendance work, service charge calculation, overtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting .
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
