Accountant - Gst

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with knowledge of GST regulations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including preparing financial statements, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting and be familiar with Indian tax laws and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and other tax laws
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Prepare and file GST returns
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform account reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Indian tax laws and accounting principles
• Experience with GST regulations and filing GST returns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
