Job Summary:
As an Accountant in our Holidays Package Company, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business operations. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's financial goals and providing insights to enhance decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain precise records of financial transactions related to holiday package sales, expenses, and revenue.
Record and reconcile transactions associated with accommodation, transportation, and other holiday-related expenses.
- Taxation:
Manage tax (GST) compliance related to holiday package sales and expenses.
Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather financial data and insights.
Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (Finbook) and Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
