We are seeking an experienced Accountant. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with tax preparation. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems
- Stay updated with relevant accounting standards and regulations
