Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in Tally, GST, Audit, and TDS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the audit process. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure all statutory obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally.
• Record and track all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journals.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• GST (Goods and Services Tax):
• Prepare and file GST returns on time.
• Handle GST-related queries and ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations.
• Reconcile GST input tax credit and liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):
• Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns as per government regulations.
• Handle TDS-related queries and ensure timely payments and filings.
• Reconcile TDS deductions and maintain proper documentation for TDS audits.
• Audit Support:
• Assist in internal and statutory audits by preparing accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of records to comply with audit requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and resolve audit queries.
• Taxation & Compliance:
• Ensure timely filing of income tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies.
• Maintain compliance with all financial regulations, including company laws, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Vendor Management & Invoicing:
• Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing details and GST applicability.
• Maintain vendor accounts and manage payment cycles in line with company policy.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting:
• Generate regular financial reports for management review, including cash flow statements and expense analysis.
• Identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for financial improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or higher versions.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax laws.
• Experience with financial software and tools, including MS Excel.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and audit functions.
• Knowledge of Auditing Processes: Thorough understanding of internal and statutory audits.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to address financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working with taxation software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and other statutory compliances.
