Accountant

Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 4-9 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws. The candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements
• Preparing and filing tax returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing financial reports for management
• Providing support during audits
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 4-9 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in audit support and financial reporting
