Overview:
The role of an Accounts Manager/Accountant is crucial to the financial health and success of the organization. They are responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Conducting regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Managing and coordinating audits
- Providing support for tax compliance and filings
- Developing and implementing internal controls
- Supervising and mentoring accounting staff
- Assisting with financial planning and analysis
- Participating in the development of accounting systems and processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Thorough understanding of budgeting and financial management
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
