Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Data Entry:
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain general ledgers and journals.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Manage customer and vendor accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- GST, TDS, and Tax Compliance:
- Assist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and deadlines.
- Payroll Management:
- Assist in calculating salaries, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Maintain employee payroll records and manage payouts.
- Financial Reporting:
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Software Management:
- Use accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks for transactions and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of automated entries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or relevant field.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software: Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books (preferred).
- Knowledge of Taxation: Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic tax filing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.
- MS Office Skills: Excel proficiency is a must.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Experience: Freshers or up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Salary Package:
- 1.8 LPA to 2 LPA (commensurate with skills and experience).
