Job Title: Account Manager (Books Division)
Location: Chennai / Pondicherry
Job Description: Straive is looking for an experienced and dynamic Account Manager Operations & Project Management to lead and oversee projects related to books publishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Client relationship, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and organizational skills who can drive projects from conception to completion while managing a team of Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management:
- Lead end-to-end project management for books, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and providing regular updates on project status.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and ensure client satisfaction.
- Gather feedback from clients and incorporate it into future projects to improve processes and deliverables.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Project Managers, providing guidance and support for project execution.
- Coordinate with authors, editors, designers, production, and other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain project momentum and resolve issues promptly.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and review project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and accuracy across all projects.
- Conduct regular project reviews and address any deviations from the project plan.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to publishing.
- Develop and refine project management methodologies and tools to ensure consistency across projects.
Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management. Prior experience managing a team of project managers is highly desirable.
