Job Description

Location: Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 03 - 3.5 Years

Salary: 03 Lakhs - 04Lakhs per year

Work Arrangement: Office-Based

Role Overview:-

The Senior Accountant will manage our financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales and purchase bills, handling GST, TDS, and TCS, and preparing comprehensive financial reports. Your role will involve using Tally and Zoho Work Space to manage your finances effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities-

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, TDS returns, and GST filings.

Could you make sure timely submission of ROC compliances and maintain accurate records

Oversee fund transfers, NEFT/RTGS transactions, and bookkeeping activities.

Conducted tax audits and provided support for tax-related matters.

Maintain a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and adhere to company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile-

5-10 years of experience in accounts management or related field (B.Com degree required).

Strong knowledge of accountancy principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements (ROC & Tax Audit).

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel) with expertise in data analysis and record-keeping.

Conducted tax audits and provided

Financial Record Management:-

Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers.

Recorded and managed sales and purchase bills daily.

GST, TDS, and TCS Compliance:

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and TCS regulations and prepare necessary documentation.

Manage GST returns, and TDS/TCS filings, and ensure timely payment of taxes.

Reporting and Analysis:-

Prepare and present detailed financial statements and reports.

Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategy.

Tally and Zoho Workspace.

Use Tally for invoicing, reconciliation, and generating financial reports.

Leverage Zoho Workspace for documentation and financial management tasks.

Budgeting and Forecasting:-

Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.

Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide recommendations.

Compliance and Auditing:-

Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

Team Coordination:-

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:-

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

3 - 3.5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial management, GST, TDS, and TCS.

Proficiency in Tally and Zoho Workspace.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Experience with recording and managing sales and purchase bills.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Arrangement:-

This is an office-based position, and candidates must be willing to work from our Mumbai Office
