Get To Know The Role
- Manage a portfolio of key restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue. You will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with merchants to drive growth for GrabFood. You will lead elements of business identification, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy.
- You will report into the Commercial Specialist and hybrid working in Malaysia.
The Day-to-day Activities
- You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, with a focus on building strong, lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
- You will liaise with merchants regarding merchant-funded promo programs, commission schemes, new products/features, and more.
- You will resolve bottlenecks and potential issues within merchant operations and content management processes.
- You will evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities through both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- You will analyze data and develop initiatives to boost revenue/profitability for your portfolio, making decisions that enhance operational performance.
- You will drive the growth of key accounts, focusing on key metrics like deliveries and GMV.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address merchant-specific needs, including customized reporting, marketing support, and system integrations.
- You will deliver business improvement projects aimed at creating value for both merchants and GrabFood.
- You will promote operational excellence by working closely with merchants and the operations teams.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a similar role, with F&B industry experience.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other dialects such as Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to integrate business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to navigate complex, multi-faceted deals.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.
