The Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored SaaS solutions. This role involves both managing existing accounts and generating new leads (approximately 20% of the role). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact. - Understand client business needs and challenges to propose tailored SaaS solutions. - Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. - Regularly review account performance and provide insights for improvement or expansion.
Lead Generation (20% of Role): - Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels (e.g., networking, cold outreach, inbound leads). - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads. - Attend industry events, webinars, and other networking opportunities to expand the companys reach and influence.
Sales & Revenue Growth: - Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs. - Prepare and present compelling proposals and product demonstrations to prospective clients - Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations - Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Collaboration: - Work closely with the product, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery. - Provide feedback to the product team regarding client needs and potential product enhancements
Requirements
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a SaaS or technology-based company.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Experience in lead generation and business development is a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, tools, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
Education:
