Account Assistant

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the job market of India and a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions accurately and timely
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Preparing financial reports and assisting with budget preparation
• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Assisting with payroll processing and related tasks

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulations
• Experience with TDS, GST and Income Tax filing
