Client Engagement and Consultation:
- Act as the primary accessibility consultant for our clients, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Conduct initial accessibility assessments to understand client needs and compliance requirements.
Audit and Compliance:
- Conduct automated and manual accessibility audits for clients using tools like Axe DevTools across multiple devices and platforms.
- Develop detailed audit reports, prioritize findings, and recommend solutions to client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our researchers to conduct user studies, including those with diverse disabilities, to enhance usability.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including VPATs, for client digital products.
- Author detailed product accessibility statements to support client compliance and transparency.
Collaboration and Implementation:
- Work closely with the internal UX team and clients to implement leading WCAG 2.2 AA enhancements.
- Review UX designs to identify and address accessibility issues before development, guiding on best practices.
- Contribute to UX design systems by recommending components and documenting patterns that support accessibility.
- Perform web and mobile code reviews, document issues, and provide remediation recommendations to clients.

What will you bring along
- 3-4 years of experience supporting digital websites, apps, and content as an accessibility specialist.
- Proven experience authoring over 10 Accessibility Conformance Reports (VPATs).
- Hands-on experience testing websites and native apps with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Advanced knowledge of WCAG 2.1 success criteria and techniques.
- Strong familiarity with current and emerging accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 and Section 508.
- Proficient in troubleshooting accessibility issues on websites and mobile applications.
- Ability to analyze and understand HTML, CSS, ARIA, and JavaScript for accessibility.
- Experience using accessibility evaluation tools like Axe DevTools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, managers, designers, developers, and testers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with multiple team members concurrently.
- CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) or equivalent.
- IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist) certification.
- Experience conducting usability tests with people who use assistive technologies and Legal knowledge of ADA requirements and US DOJ regulations is a plus.
