Academic Mentor

Position= Academic Mentor

Location= MG road, Bengaluru

Salary= 30k to 40k

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions with students to discuss academic progress, goals, and challenges

- Help students develop academic plans, set goals, and create strategies for success

- Assist students in selecting courses, exploring majors, and planning for graduation

- Foster a growth mindset and promote self-advocacy and self-motivation

- Connect students with campus resources, such as tutoring, advising, and counseling services

- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and encouragement

- Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and other support staff to ensure student success

- Develop and lead workshops on academic success strategies and study skills

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in academic mentoring, teaching, or counseling

- Strong knowledge of academic success strategies and study skills

- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work with diverse student populations and needs

- Empathetic and supportive approach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00 - 40,000.00 per month
