Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide academic counseling and guidance to students with regards to their course selection, career options, and educational goals.
- Assist students in identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and interests to help them make informed decisions about their academic pursuits.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to address their academic concerns, personal issues, and career aspirations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and academic staff to ensure effective communication and support.
- Stay updated with the latest educational and career trends to provide relevant and up-to-date information to students.
- Collaborate with other academic counselors and professionals to organize workshops, seminars, and career fairs for students.
- Monitor and track the academic progress of students, identify areas of improvement, and provide appropriate interventions and support.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, student interactions, and referrals.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in all counseling activities.
