Job Description

JD for the Academic Coordinator

Manage Visit the University process compliance

Preparation of Time table and adherence to it

Managing faculty communication for day-to-day work

Coordinating the with the University, internal stake holders and external stake holders

Visit the university when-ever required for the smooth functioning of the programme

Plan work and resources

Monitoring attendance of students, ensuring the required steps are taken to maintain attendance.

Constant communication with the team on day-to-day progress

Data management of the students, timely communication of the academic progression

Engagement of students in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities

Coordinating for the Industrial visits

Timely execution of the planned events

Planning and implementation of the teaching-learning-plan

Monitoring of the students performance

Planning and implementation of Internal Assessment, Midterm and Semester exams

Managing the events within the campus and outdoor events

Maintaining the records of the student and faculty

Planning the semester end-to end

Support in placements and summer internships

Coordinating with innovation, research and entrepreneurship sessions

Managing the university portal related to admissions, internal marks, hall tickets, reports, invigilation duty and results

Coordinating with the industry experts for guest lectures

Maintaining the record of syllabus completion status on a weekly basis

Planning the feedback from students and faculty members

Maintaining the documentation work, managing files and database

Maintaining the database of the semester and the related work
  • Skills required:

MS Office, Data Management, Good Communication verbal and written
  • Experience:

Minimum of 8 to 10 years in academic management.
  • Job Location : Venue: GIBS Business School, Mylasandra road, Begur Hobli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068
