We are on the lookout for an experienced Montessori Academic Coordinator to oversee the functioning of our reputed Montessori school. The ideal candidate should be an expert in the field of Montessori philosophy and must have proven experience as a primary Montessori AMI trained.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating the smooth functioning of academic operations, facilitating communication between faculty, students, and administrators
- Curriculum Development: Collaborating with faculty members to develop and review academic curriculum by identifying learning objectives, selecting appropriate instructional materials, and ensuring alignment with educational standards and regulations of IGCSE curriculum.
- Course Scheduling: Planning and organizing course schedules for each academic term or semester
- Policies and Procedures: Ensuring compliance with academic policies and procedures established by the educational institution
- Work closely with teachers and communicate these policies to faculty, address questions or concerns, and maintain records of policy adherence
- Program Evaluation and Assessment: Collaborating with faculty and administration to evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in education or related field required, Masters degree preferred.
- AMI Montessori certification. Expertise in Montessori philosophy and practice.
- Must be willing to travel across our various branches.
- At least 10 years proven experience working with children 3-6 years.
- Must be a highly motivated team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about educating young minds and strengthening families and building community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to coach and mentor adults.
- Must have working knowledge of computers and be adept in commonly used software for email, internet, word processing, data collection, entry and analysis.
