Job Title: AC Service Engineer (Field Service)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air
conditioning systems. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems, strong
problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Setup: Install new air conditioning systems, including central air
units, split systems, and other types of HVAC systems.
- Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups
on various AC units to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning
systems, including electrical and mechanical failures.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the
service or repair, provide estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with industry
standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and
customer interactions.
- Upgrades and Modifications: Recommend and perform upgrades or modifications to
improve system efficiency or meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC
Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in air conditioning installation,
maintenance, and repair.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams,
and technical manuals. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in HVAC work.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in HVAC or refrigeration (e.g., EPA
certification) are preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues quickly
and efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to
explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment,
and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern HVAC technologies, such as smart thermostats and energyefficient
systems.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to HVAC systems.
Work Environment:
- Field-based role with travel to customer locations.
- May require working in various weather conditions and non-standard hours.
