Experience :- 2-5 Years
Installation:- Install electrical components and wiring for air conditioning systems, including units, thermostats, and control panels.
Set up electrical connections for new AC units and integrate them with existing electrical systems.- Ensure that installations meet manufacturer specifications and local electrical codes.
Maintenance:- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems related to air conditioning units.
Test electrical circuits and components for proper functioning and efficiency.- Replace or upgrade electrical components, such as capacitors, contactors, and relays, as needed.
Repairs:- Diagnose electrical issues within AC systems, including power failures, short circuits, and faulty wiring.
Troubleshoot and repair problems with electrical connections, controls, and sensors in AC units.- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to address issues that involve both electrical and mechanical components.
Safety:- Adhere to safety protocols and practices to prevent electrical hazards and ensure safe operation of AC systems.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that the work environment is safe.- Stay informed about electrical safety regulations and best practices related to HVAC systems.
Documentation:- Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Prepare reports on electrical issues and solutions for clients and for compliance purposes.- Document all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Collaboration:- Work closely with HVAC technicians, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.- Offer recommendations for system upgrades or improvements based on observed issues.
