Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Ab initio ETL Developer with 7-11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and extensive experience in developing ETL solutions using Ab initio. The candidate should be able to work independently and as a part of a team, and be able to provide technical guidance to other team members.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL solutions using Ab initio
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Create technical design documents and participate in design reviews
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, and scripts
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7-11 years of experience in ETL development using Ab initio
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles
- Experience with Ab initio GDE, Co>Operating System, and EME
- Experience with Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server databases
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in Agile development methodology is a plus
