Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance within Agile Software Development Environments.
- Team Management: At least 4+ years of experience in managing and mentoring a team of 6-8 Software Engineers.
- OKR Management: Proficient in managing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Set quarterly and long-term goals for the team using Juniper's OKR tracking software and document periodic 1-1 meetings with team members.
- Scrum Master Experience: Familiarity with Scrum Master responsibilities (or similar operations) for Testing and Quality scrums. Conduct standup meetings and perform risk mitigation to ensure project schedules stay on track.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) pipelines involving CI/CD, Distributed Systems, Microservices, and Infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience leading and providing technical guidance to teams working on Software Development and Testing products, preferably in Datacenter Networking or Cloud Native Networking.
- Hands-on programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Golang, C, or C++.
- Deployment and management experience in On-Premises and Public Clouds (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure deployment tools like Ansible, Helm, and Terraform.
- Collaboration Skills: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Software Development, Product Line Management, Program Management, Customer Account Management, and Product Sales. Understand customer requirements and operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Decision-Making: Able to make quick decisions backed by data. Hold oneself and the team accountable for decisions and milestones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in running large-scale IaaS/SaaS platforms for Enterprise or Datacenter projects.
- Experience handling Software Defined Networking projects for on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions.
