- Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
- Responsible for the timely completion of payroll related General Ledger (GL) entries, reconciliations and roll forwards for month-end close. Work closely with other teams in resolving issues/open items in reconciliations.
- Ability to gather data, break down a problem, weigh pros and cons and reach logical decision and produce logical metrics/indicators and solutions.
- Manipulates data into information. Applies analytical and modelling techniques to examine business issues. Draw conclusion and propose solutions.
- Pursues simplicity. Seeks diverse ideas. Collaborates beyond the border of function or geography.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local laws of respective countries and applicable government regulations review and co-ordinate with HR teams on policies/Benefits
- Assure timeliness and accuracy of required filings. Ensure all SLA's are met
- Answer payroll and benefit inquiries and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
- Overall, take complete ownership of payroll end to end related activities
- Coordinating for audit requirements and closure of (Yearly, Half yearly and statutory and Internal audits)
Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
- CA Inter Pass/MBA / relevant education.
- 3 -4 years post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience on payroll accounting
- Hands on experience in General Ledger.
- Forward thinking, solution minded and can-do attitude.
- Strong analytical skills
- Good oral and written communication
- Partner effectively with global teams and work independently to foresee and resolve issues if any
- The person should be highly energetic and possess ability to function as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a changing, complex, matrixed environment across geographies and with key global stakeholders.
- Strong in MS suite applications - Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
