As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

. 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

. Applies Systems knowledge to assist and support the research, design, development, simulation, and/or validation of systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met.

. Supports the functional analysis that drive requirements and specifications and define and alignstandards for hardware and software.

. Assists with the analysis and development of system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

. Collaborates with team members to complete project work, including implementing and testing features and verifying the accuracy of systems.

. Develops new and innovative ideas or ways to solve problems.

. Assists in the triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presenting results of testing and debugging to team members.

Level of Responsibility:

. Works under supervision.

. Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

. Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
