Job Description

Role Description:

The purpose of the LCCI Creative Services Team Lead role is to partner with brands, marketing operations leaders, agencies, and internal partners to ensure quality, speed, value, and compliance throughout the Customer Information Materials Lifecycle. The Team Leader will lead a team of creative problem solvers who support achievement of the brand's goals while always seeking ways to apply the process in a more effective manner. The Team Leader will manage a team of Creative Service Designers and Writers as direct reports and provide support for their individual development and career path progression.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

The Team Leader is directly responsible for the performance management and development plan for the associates.

Inspire team to innovate and build efficiencies in delivery, quality, and raising the creative bar by developing effective brand experiences
Conduct PM reviews/ check-ins to evaluate performance (including timelines and quality objectives), business results, impact, and compliance
Help the team achieve its goal/target for the financial year
Have regular meetings with reporting manager (Associate Director) and discussions about their direct reports
Appropriately manage the workload of direct reports; monitor project timelines and quality and communicate priorities to direct reports
Provide input on employee development, talent assessment, and keep the Associate Director aware of all the above behaviors on a regular basis
Encourage appropriate rewards for deserving individual/group performance and results
Ensure all direct reports are compliant with company policies, procedures, and regulations, and most importantly, training needs
Provides day-to-day decision guidance for direct reports and other Creative Services team members
Holds self & others accountable for inclusive behaviors within & across teams
Coach, manage, and develop a team of creative designers
Identify, recruit, and select top talent

Manage new-hire onboarding process
Utilize Coaching Framework
Partner with direct reports to create individual development planning/action planning
Serve as trusted career advisor and work with HR to identify career opportunities as appropriate

Minimum Experience/Personal Skill Requirements:

Prior experience in team leadership is mandatory with minimum 18 months experience with the promotional material creation and approval specific to LMS. This should include a minimum 18 months of tenure at LCCI
13+ years of visual design experience in a creative agency or relevant field
Experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design, brand development, and content writing
Experience in Print & Digital production and project management advertising products throughout product lifecycle
Experienced in client facing roles handling accounts or campaigns
Proficiency in Graphic design principles including Typography, Color Theory, Composition etc.
Proficiency in Creative tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Figma

Additional Preferences:


Experience working on the following would be an added advantage GREP, XML tagging (DTD/Schema), Actions and batch processing, 3D modelling, UI/UX and JavaScript (ExtendScript), InDesign Server administration, Adobe Experience Manager, Digital Assets Management, audio/video editing, motion graphics.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Workamajig, Jira) preferred
Pharmaceutical industry experience
Demonstrated prioritization skills
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail, including commitment to following brand and other defined standards
High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations
D emonstrated ability to enforce business rules and policies in a constructive but disciplined manner
