Triumph: Leading the Charge Towards Diversity and Inclusion in India’s Workplaces

It’s a wrap for the third edition of Triumph — India’s Leading Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Virtual Career Fair. When we started two years ago, our mission was simple. We wanted to connect underrepresented groups with inclusive workplaces in India. We’ve made significant progress towards that goal.

We believe our country is rich with diverse talent. There’s also a new crop of forward-looking, inclusive workplaces. All we needed was a platform to bridge the gap.

That’s where Triumph comes in. Our goal was to provide a platform where Women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and Persons with Disabilities could connect with some of India’s top inclusive workplaces. We started by promoting the D&I Virtual Fair on social media and other channels, in a bid to raise awareness.

Alongside, we also strengthened our own internal processes, from adopting gender-neutral language to offering flexible working arrangements.

We also drafted some helpful guides for job seekers looking to work at Inclusive workplaces.

Triumph Unveiled: Event Highlights

The event was kicked off with a short keynote address by Sekhar Garisa, the CEO of foundit. Sekhar’s address set the tone for all the enriching sessions that followed soon after.

These included talks and sessions on D&I industry leaders, who shared their experiences and insights in fostering inclusivity at the workplace.

The event itself saw more than 1.44 lakh registrations, with more than 50,000 people logging into the Virtual Career Fair. We had a lineup of leading hiring partners like Capgemini, Infosys, L&TMindtree, Tech Mahindra and Aditya Birla Capital.

From Triumph to Triumph: Partnering for Change

In the end, Triumph was about more than jobs. As our CEO said, Triumph was about the “power of diversity and inclusion in action”. Among the job seekers, industry leaders, influencers, coaches, and mentors, there was a sense of renewed confidence.

People left empowered by the knowledge and networking opportunities that the Virtual Career Fair provided. They saw firsthand how they could fit into and thrive in inclusive workplaces.

Towards an Inclusive Future

As we bring the third edition of Triumph to a close, we’re already thinking about what lies ahead. We’re proud to have been able to make a difference through Triumph. And this is just the beginning.

We’re planning to make an even more significant impact with the Virtual Career Fair, championing diversity, and fostering inclusivity. Stay tuned as we continue our quest to connect diverse talent with forward-looking workplaces in India, rewriting the rules of the professional landscape.
